The Rain Barrel Workshop is an event designed to sell rain barrels at a discounted price to community members who are then given an opportunity to paint and personalize their barrels. This event recycles empty plastic barrels that Lakefront Brewery would otherwise dispose of and transforms them into rain barrels using a converter kit from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. These barrels assist in the mitigation of stormwater runoff and decrease the homeowner’s landscape watering costs during dry periods.
