Milwaukee River
Riverbank Restoration

Riveredge Nature Center
This project restored an area of the Milwaukee River used for water quality education programs at Riveredge Nature Center. Project outcomes include: 1) Stabilization and restoration of at least 120 feet of the riverbank; 2) Limiting future erosion and runoff from the riverbank; and 3) Implement protection for the riverbank (boardwalk and river access area) which limits future impact on the area while also continuing to provide opportunities for hands-on water quality education.
