Milwaukee Riverkeeper trained, equipped, and supported citizen volunteers who will collect phosphorus samples and test other crucial water quality parameters in the Milwaukee River Basin. Our volunteer monitors collect the vast majority of total phosphorus data in the Milwaukee River Basin. This program plays a critical role in collecting information that informs implementation of new state standards and permits that are issued.
